About

Chris is the owner of CH Energy LLC and CH Realty LLC.

Chris’ aim is to educate, advocate for, and provide aspiring and existing homeowners with resources to transition to a carbon free all-electric household. The result is increased health, comfort, financial savings, and a reduced carbon footprint. Additionally, Chris has been restoring urban biodiversity for over 10 years by planting native pollinator plants, and he loves to educate and inspire others to do the same! He is currently engaged in habitat restoration and pollinator advocacy work with the Pollinator Friendly Alliance.

Chris holds a BA in Marketing and German Studies from the University of St. Thomas. Chris is a Certified Passsive House Tradesperson, a LEED Green Associate and holds a NABCEP Solar PV Technical Sales Certification. In January of 2022, Chris was invited to help curate USGBC Live - an “annual event series designed to help prepare and inspire building industry practitioners and changemakers to accelerate the transition to green buildings, cities and communities.”

In tandem with sustainability, Chris is a songwriter/multi-instrumentalist and he is currently working on his 4th record out of his home studio in Minneapolis, where he lives with his wife Annie and his son Roberto.
